Audiophiles and home theater enthusiasts alike can now take advantage of the increased dynamic capability of high resolution recordings with the Legacy i.V series high performance amplifiers. You will enjoy a lower noise floor in your recordings, stronger crests and increased dynamic resolution. With unprecedented power underneath the sleek chassis and front panel meter, these amplifiers are great for both stereo and multi-channel duties, including emerging Atmos systems.

"Excellent build quality, massive power reserves, and excellent performance...a great buy for a top-tier system." - John E. Johnson, Secrets of Home Theater & High Fidelity

Featuring state-of-the-art ICEedge technology, the elegant Class D amplifiers operate at nearly 80% efficiency at rated output while remaining stable into low impedances. Available in a monoblock through eight channel configuration, the Legacy i.V 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 channel configurations deliver 660 watts into 4 ohms at les than 0.005% distortion to each of their channels.

"Do such technological changes bring a better sound? You bet! Do not doubt that these are fundamentally different amps than the older class D you heard years ago. This is easily my favorite amp of all time.” - Doug Schroeder, Dagogo.com

The Legacy i.V ULTRA 2, 3 and 4 amplifiers offer a dedicated module per channel and deliver up to 1kW into 4 ohms, with a peak output current capability of 38A.

The powerhouse i.V1 ULTRA monobloc delivers 1,600 watts into 4 ohms with 2.0kW peak power at 4 ohm/1kHz with less than 1% distortion and features a high purity copper bar weighing in at 6 lbs to further refine the grounding scheme.

Power Rating:

660 watts per channel @ 4ohms, all channels driven, 610 watts per channel @ 8 ohms, all channels driven

1000 watts per channel @ 4ohms, all channels driven, 610 watts per channel @ 8 ohms, all channels driven. 1.2kW peak power @ 4 ohms/1kHz with less than 1% distortion

1600 watts per channel @ 4 ohms, 1125 watts per channel @ 8 ohms. 2.0kW peak power @ 4ohm/1kHz with less than 1% distortion

"Does that extra power make a difference? In my listening in certainly did." - Al Griffin, Sound & Vision Magazine

Power is the product of current (i) and voltage (V). Higher amplifier power assures the proper snap in transients and means dense musical arrangements will avoid the smearing, strain and inevitable distortion as complex passages reach higher levels.

If you thought loud car crashes, rocket launches and dinosaur footsteps are all high power is good for, you might consider the benefits of lower noise floor and increased dynamic resolution. Say goodbye to the heat build-up and transformer hum. The crystal-clear sound is virtually noise-free and reliability is assured- after all, it's a Legacy.
