The Legacy Audio Aeris Speaker System has been awarded the 2014 Golden Ear Award. This marks a back to back win for the Legacy Audio Aeris, which also received the 2013 award from The Absolute Sound upon its release.

The award is for reference products that have withstood the test of time and new-found favorites destined to become classics.

The Award was a tie between the Legacy Aeris ($19,525) and the Wilson Alexia ($47,500).

After reviewing the speaker, Anthony H. Cordesman called it "The kind of speaker you just have to audition, and with technology that provides the shape of things to come- right now!"

The Legacy Aeris has also been named the 2014 Audioholics Consumer Excellence Award winner, Speaker of The Year, Best Sound at RMAF, and more.

"I haven’t had so much fun using speakers to re-explore my music in a long, long time. In spite of their radically different features and design, both the Wilson ($47,500) and the Legacy ($19,525) have details, dynamics, full deep bass, extended upper octaves, and soundstaging that are truly exceptional at their very different price points. They have a natural musical realism with classical music and acoustic jazz for which I’ve searched a great deal longer than I care to remember." (Issues 238 and 235)
