The Legacy Focus XD speakers redefine high-fidelity sound with their advanced internally amplified speaker design. Each tower features 700 watts of super low-distortion amplification, providing significant bi-amplification benefits. The Legacy Focus XD is a truly versatile system, offering multiple configuration options including fully active operation or active bi-amplification with an external amp.
The Focus XD floor standing speakers boast the renowned Legacy Dual AMT system for pristine highs and dual 7″ graphene filled carbon fiber mid-ranges. The dual 12″ ultra-linear woofers deliver unprecedented bass output.
The back panel offers three amplification configurations:
- Active Bass with External Crossover Use the built-in 700W amp to perfectly drive the dual 12″ subwoofers. Then, connect your favorite external amplifier to power the midrange and high-frequency drivers. For the absolute best performance, pair this setup with the outboard Legacy Wavelet 2 processor to handle crossover duties and apply award-winning room correction.
- Active Bass Mode with Internal Crossover Let the powerful internal 700W amp handle the bass section using the speaker’s internal crossover and an external amplifier for the mids and highs.
- Fully Active Mode In this simple setup, the entire speaker is powered by the internal 700W full-range amplifier. Just connect your source, and you’re ready.
