The Legacy Audio Studio HD received the 2022 Stereophile Recommended Component Award. Stereophile ratings take into account what their reviewers heard during the review period and also their continued experience with the product.

The Legacy Studio HDs rewarded Stereophile reviewer Herb Reichert with "spirited liveliness" and good musical timing.
